Meet Craig, the First Man in the World Who Lived Without a Heart

When Craig Lewis aged 55 had been diagnosed with a heart disease so intricate not even a pacemaker could save him, Texan doctors had to think outside of the box. Outstandingly, they developed a revolutionary concept where by they install a device that keeps his blood in continuous flow…without a pulse.

Within a day of surgery Craig was able to sit up and speak to doctors. Sadly within five weeks Craig died. His liver and and kidney had eroded and so his family decided to turn the heart off to allow him to die humanely. However the fact that a man could live for five weeks with no pulse is quite incredible. What are your thoughts?
